Virginia High School Volleyball - Nansemond River tips Western Branch

In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Western Branch Bruins.

The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Deep Creek was edged by Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Bruins now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to King's Fork for a challenge on Wednesday, October 15. Western Branch will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-10.
