Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the visiting Butte Valley Bulldogs (Dorris, CA), saw Mt. Shasta's soccer squad knock off Butte Valley by a score of 3-1.

The Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Shasta Cascade battle with a 17-1 record. In their last battle, Fall River got by Etna (Etna, CA), 19-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a Shasta Cascade outing, on Thursday, October 9. Butte Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 0-9 record after their 19-0 league loss to Fall River (McArthur, CA).
