With the triumph, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill moves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Oneida (Oneida, NY) to clash with the Express in a TVL East test on Friday, October 10. The Express come into the test with a record of 0-7. Oneida lost 10-1 in their recent league test against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY)

The Blue Devils now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaver River for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16.
