North Carolina High School Soccer - Carson nudges Central Cabarrus

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Carson Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Central Cabarrus Vikings.
The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders come into the South Piedmont 4A/5A game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Concord edged East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
The Vikings (1-13) will now prepare for their game against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls come into the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, Hickory Ridge was nipped by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 5-2, in a non-league game.
