The Forbush Falcons soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host North Surry Greyhounds to 0 in the Falcons league victory on Wednesday.

The Falcons now hold a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Forsyth Home Educators for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 9. Forbush will play a Hawks squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, North Surry moves to 7-7 on the year. The Greyhounds host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a Northwest 3A/4A game on Monday, October 13. The Golden Eagles come into the game with a record of 8-5. Surry Central won 3-0 in their recent league game against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC)
