The Mount Tabor Spartans soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Glenn Bobcats to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans now possess a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Davidson for a Piedmont Triad 5A/6A game on Monday, October 13. Mount Tabor will face a Black Knights team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-11.
The Bobcats (13-1) will now prepare for their game against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels come into the Piedmont Triad 5A/6A game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Atkins edged North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC), 4-2, in a league game.
