Fans at Wednesday's league outing between the Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) and the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), saw Scranton's soccer squad hold off North Pocono by a score of 2-1.

The Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Buckhorns enter the Lackawanna - Division I outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Wallenpaupack Area was edged by Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I test, on Monday, October 13. North Pocono will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 5-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Valley View (Archbald, PA).
