The Wolverines (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY). The Jaguars go into the Section 5 Allegany County battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Genesee Valley achieved victory over Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, NY), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Cuba-Rushford Rebels (Cuba, NY) in a Section 5 Allegany County contest, on Friday, October 17. Hinsdale Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 11-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, NY).
