Kentucky High School Volleyball - Walton-Verona tips Bracken County

October 8, 2025: Walton, KY 41094

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) and the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY), observed Walton-Verona's volleyball team hold off Bracken County by a count of 3-2.

The Bearcats (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian got by Newport (Newport, KY), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Polar Bears battle the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 9. Bracken County will attempt to improve on its 20-5 season record. The Braves go into the battle with a 16-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Boone County (Florence, KY).
