In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Breathitt County Bobcats volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Powell County Pirates.
With the win, Breathitt County advances its record to 16-9 on the season. The Bobcats host Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, October 13. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 7-19. Morgan County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY)
The Pirates (16-14) will now prepare for their game against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers come into the District 56 outing with a 7-25 record.
