Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the California Crosspoint Rams (Hayward, CA) and the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Antioch, CA), observed California Crosspoint's volleyball team top Cornerstone Christian by a count of 3-1.

The Rams (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Names (Oakland, CA). The Monarchs enter the Bay Counties - General battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Holy Names achieved victory over Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Making Waves Academy for a Bay Counties - General contest on Friday, October 10. Cornerstone Christian will meet a Marlins team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Urban (San Francisco, CA). The Marlins record now stands at 5-14.
