Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV), observed Fairview's volleyball team top Hannan by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles (11-15) will now prepare for their battle against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers go into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Greenup County achieved victory over Boyd County (Ashland, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tolsia for a non-league battle on Monday, October 13.
