In Wednesday's league match, the Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

The Oilers now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Boone Grove for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. Whiting will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Griffith drops to 11-12 on the campaign.
