Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest SD (San Diego, CA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Southwest SD was nudged by Olympian (Chula Vista, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils play the Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Sweetwater will attempt to advance on its 12-12 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, UT).
