King City Mustangs (King City, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, King City improves its record to 6-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Carmel (Carmel, CA) to face the Padres in a Pacific Coast - Gabilan test on Thursday, October 23. The Padres go into the test with a record of 9-5.

The Chieftains now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacific Grove for a Pacific Coast - Gabilan test on Tuesday, October 14. Palma will face a Breakers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 15-5.
