The Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ) volleyball overcame the visiting Middletown South Eagles (Middletown, NJ), 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Lions (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Manchester Township achieved victory over Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinelands Regional for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. Middletown South will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-2.
