Connecticut High School Volleyball - Waterford edged by Norwich Free Academy

The Waterford Lancers volleyball squad (Waterford, CT), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT)

With the win, Norwich Free Academy improves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT) to battle the Centaurs in a Eastern Connecticut - Large contest on Friday, October 10. The Centaurs enter the contest with a record of 11-5. Woodstock Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Plainfield (Central Village, CT)

Next, the Lancers battle the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Waterford will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 9-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Fitch (Groton, CT).
