California High School Volleyball - Wilcox can't get by Santa Clara

October 8, 2025: Santa Clara, CA 95051

Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Santa Clara improves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bruins host Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to face the Pioneers in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test on Monday, October 13. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 20-5. Cupertino won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA)

Next, the Chargers meet the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Wilcox will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA).
