The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) and the host Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA), saw Westfield School's softball squad achieve victory over Southland Academy by a count of 12-1.

The Hornets now sport a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Milledge Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, October 16. Westfield School will face a Trojans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Southland Academy falls to 9-12 on the campaign.
