The Alexander Central Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host South Caldwell Spartans to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.
The Cougars now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a game on Wednesday, October 11. Alexander Central will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.
The Spartans (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league game with a 10-1 record.
