In Monday's league battle, the host Amplus Academy Archers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Chaparral Cowboys.
The Archers (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Pinecrest Academy Cadence nudged American Heritage Academy (Henderson, NV), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cowboys encounter the Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) in a battle, on Monday, October 16. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record.
