The Freedom Patriots volleyball team (Morganton, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC)

The Huskies (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, South Caldwell was dropped by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Freedom will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
