The Glenvar Highlanders volleyball team (Salem, VA), was nudged 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA)

The Knights (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons enter the non-league challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Christiansburg was nudged by Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 10. Glenvar will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).
