North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont can't hold off Parkwood

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Parkwood Wolf Pack volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Piedmont Panthers.
The Wolf Pack (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Porter Ridge was edged by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 14-4 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 4-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
