Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a Central 3A challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Williams will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).

The Eagles now have a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Person for a Central 3A bout on Monday, October 16. Eastern Alamance will battle a Rockets team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 0-12.
