The crowd at Monday's league test between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), saw Piedmont's soccer squad get by Forest Hills by a margin of 1-0.
The Panthers now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Central Academy for a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Wednesday, October 11. Piedmont will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Forest Hills drops to 7-9 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to meet the Colts in a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Wednesday, October 11. The Colts come into the test with a record of 7-11. West Stanly lost 5-3 in their recent league test against Monroe (Monroe, NC)
