Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, October 16. Providence Grove will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 3-3 league Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC).
The Eagles now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Uwharrie Charter will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
