In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Trion Bulldogs softball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Bowdon Red Devils.
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pepperell for a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Trion will face a Dragons squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Bowdon falls to 17-7 on the campaign. The Red devils host Darlington (Rome, GA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 10-12. Darlington won 10-1 in their recent league challenge against Pepperell (Lindale, GA)
