In Monday's league battle, the host Monticello Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Camanche Indians.
The Panthers (21-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 27-8 record. In their last battle, Mid-Prairie achieved victory over Durant (Durant, IA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Indians clash with the Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA) in a River Valley North battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Camanche will attempt to advance on its 6-22 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 24-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Cascade (Cascade, IA).
