The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) and the host Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), saw Cave Spring's volleyball squad beat Glenvar by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Cave Spring upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA) to play the Blue Demons in a River Ridge test on Tuesday, October 10. The Blue Demons enter the test with a record of 14-3. Christiansburg won 3-1 in their recent league test against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA)

The Highlanders (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats enter the Three Rivers test with a 8-7 record.
