Next up, the Bears face the Hillcrest Academy Ravens (Kalona, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 16. English Valleys will attempt to better on its 13-14 season record. The Ravens go into the contest with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA).

With the loss, Colfax-Mingo moves to 7-16 on the year. The Tigerhawks travel to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA) to face the Warhawks in a South Iowa Cedar contest on Monday, October 9.
