The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Walden Wolverines (Louisville, KY), saw Eastern's volleyball squad beat Walden by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Eastern upgrades its record to 12-14 on the year. The Eagles host Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY) to play the Centurions in a District 28 bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Centurions go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Christian Academy-Louisville won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY)

The Wolverines now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Atherton for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 11. Walden will play a Ravens squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Ravens record now stands at 9-11.
