The Stanfield Tigers volleyball team (Stanfield, OR), was nudged 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Echo Cougars (Echo, OR)
The Cougars (9-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Griswold (Helix, OR). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Old Oregon challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Griswold was nudged by Cove (Cove, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Stanfield will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR).
