The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) and the visiting Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY), observed West Carter's volleyball team gain a win over Elliott County by a final score of 3-0.

The Comets (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-19 record.

The Lions now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to East Carter for a District 62 bout on Monday, October 16.
