The Marshall Bobcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds to 0 in the Bobcats league victory on Monday.

The Bobcats now have a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alpena for a 2A North game on Tuesday, October 10. Marshall will meet a Leopards team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Leopards record now stands at 4-18.

The Thunderbirds (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles enter the 2A North game with a 19-1 record. In their last game, Conway Christian gained a win over Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR), 3-0, in a league game.
