The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) and the host Hickman County Falcons (Clinton, KY), saw Mayfield's volleyball squad beat Hickman County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Mayfield upgrades its record to 24-6 on the year. The Cardinals host Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 9-20.

The Falcons now own a 11-17 record. They play next when they host St. Mary for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Hickman County will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 4-15.
