The Izard County Cougars topped the visiting Quitman Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yellville-Summit for a 2A North test on Tuesday, October 10. Izard County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 16-10.

The Bulldogs (13-8) will now prepare for their test against England (England, AR). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, England gained a win over Taylor (Taylor, AR), 3-2, in a league test.
