The Jefferson Democrats volleyball team (Portland, OR), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR)

The Mountain Lions (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Roosevelt (Portland, OR). The Roughriders enter the 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Roosevelt was dropped by Grant (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Democrats meet the Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Techmen enter the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cleveland (Portland, OR).
