The Pike County Central Hawks volleyball team (Pikeville, KY), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY)

The Golden Eagles (20-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 20-5 record. In their last challenge, Floyd Central went down by Paintsville (Paintsville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league bout.

The Hawks now own a 10-16 record. They play next when they host Belfry for a District 60 bout on Tuesday, October 10. Pike County Central will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 10-10.
