The La Quinta Aztecs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros to 2 in the Aztecs league victory on Monday.

The Aztecs now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolsa Grande for a Garden Grove game on Wednesday, October 11. La Quinta will meet a Matadors team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 7-15.

The Vaqueros (8-12) will now prepare for their game against Loara (Anaheim, CA). The Saxons enter the Garden Grove game with a 9-15 record. In their last game, Loara was nudged by Santiago (Garden Grove, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
