The Lacey Township Lions topped the visiting Lakewood Piners volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's league test.

The Lions now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinelands Regional for a Shore B - South test on Tuesday, October 10. Lacey Township will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Washington Township (Sewell, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-6.

The Piners (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Keyport was knocked off by Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
