Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mountaineers clash with the Mountain View Generals (Quicksburg, VA) in a Bull Run match, on Tuesday, October 10. Madison County will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Generals come into the match with a 1-15 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA).

With the loss, Orange County drops to 2-11 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Jefferson match on Tuesday, October 10. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 15-5. Western Albemarle won 3-2 in their recent league match against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
