The Mercer Mustangs held off the visiting Portersville Christian volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 10. Mercer will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-2 league win over Erie (Erie, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-7.
