In Monday's league battle, the host Southlands Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the San Gabriel Academy Eagles.

The Eagles (16-7) will now prepare for their battle against Orangewood Academy (Garden Grove, CA). The Spartans come into the Academy battle with a 18-8 record. In their last battle, Orangewood Academy achieved victory over Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA) in a Academy battle, on Wednesday, October 11. San Gabriel Academy will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record. The Firewolves come into the battle with a 14-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over SEED: LA (Los Angeles, CA).
