In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Anchor Bay Tars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils.
The Tars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 7-10 record.
