In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Yorktown Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wakefield School Fighting Owls .
The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record.
Next, the Fighting Owls play the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Wakefield School will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
