The Lathrop Spartans edged the visiting Ceres Bulldogs flag football team by a score of 27-22 in Wednesday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Johansen Vikings (Modesto, CA) in a Western Athletic Conference challenge, on Monday, October 14. Lathrop will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record.
The Bulldogs (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Panthers enter the Western Athletic Conference challenge with a 9-10 record.
