The Compton Tarbabes walloped the host Woodrow Wilson Bruins flag football team by a score of 33-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tarbabes face the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix (Compton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 11. Compton will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Rising Phoenix go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Centennial (Compton, CA).

The Bruins (1-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Comets go into the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart of Jesus was ripped by St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA), 36-0, in a league challenge.
