California High School Flag Football - Escalon over Sonora

The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) and the host Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA), witnessed Escalon's flag football squad knock off Sonora by a tally of 24-6.

The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the Trans-Valley League contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Hilmar was outscored by Hughson (Hughson, CA), 31-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) in a Trans-Valley League contest, on Monday, October 14. Sonora will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
