Georgia High School Flag Football - East Coweta thwarted by Pike County

October 9, 2024: Zebulon, GA 30295

Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), 28-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Pike County advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Pirates host Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Monday, October 21. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Sandy Creek won 13-12 in their recent non-league battle against Creekside (Fairburn, GA)

The Indians now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Paulding for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10.
